Fissure Sealants

Applied to the chewing surfaces of teeth at risk of decay

Molars (teeth at the back of the mouth used for chewing) often have grooves or fissures. These can be difficult to clean and food particles can be trapped here. Bacteria may grow and release acids that can decay your tooth. We apply a protective covering (sealant) to the fissure to help prevent tooth decay.
